Jewel Beetle - a micro-dwarf tomato variety ..... soon to be potted up ....... this one got a late start, was not on my original grow out list, but seemed like an interesting variety with good reviews

May 15 'R' Garden

how could I not buy these (or fit them into the garden)!! on clearance .... $2.00 for 25 ... new to me, but are reported to have an amazing fragrance .. a few name changes with this one now known as Bicolour Murilea (Peacock Flower or Acidanthera)

also on sale ... 'Nori' large flowering Gladiolus

more 'Nori' from Victoria trip ...... Glads seem to thrive in this garden ...... they overwinter and self seed .... will see how this variety does

May 14 King Ed Garden

 first of the season .... snap peas started in my garden snail

mxed chard looking perky...... dahlias have yet to show

mixed greens popping up with radishes in the centre and a few beans ..... not many of these sprouted .... having a difficult time with beans this year!!

May 11 'R' Garden

 dahlias are in!!  it looks bare now, but by August is will be awash in colour .....

just to add a bit of green to the garden ....... couldn't resist buying just one tomato .... Sun Dipper

 five dahlias going in at the right ...... and smaller plot to the left front has snap peas, three of the seedling dahlias and assorted zinnias started from seed

tomatoes have their cages .......... looking very happy so far

rose starting to bud ...... lots of them this year; and the Logan berry and raspberry in containers against white wall
