July 15 Container Pepper Update
a quick update on my container peppers - we have colour!! check out my Doe Hill plant 2
and the others - Yellow Capriglio, Zolotistyi, Cambuci and Doe Hill plant 1
Mid July Some for Harvest Some for Drying
Here's a mixed bowl ....... more shelling peas, Adam gherkin, and two for drying for craft use - Scabiosa seed heads and white flowered oregano (I believe the white flower is Greek)
and my "Sunburst" dahlia; managed to overwinter the tubers on this one - so many flowers - and early too
July 4 Plot 5 Revisited
Thought it about time to do an update on Plot 5 ...... first, two views of the garden;
top view shows my remaining potato hills "Merida" - really good crop from the dug portion - don't seem to have taken a picture ..... and my favourite self sown beneficial flower - white alyssum
tomatoes "Brad's Atomic Grape" starting to ripen, Walla Walla onion starts begin to fill out - again planted in a bunch and harvested as needed, and my broccoli of choice "Brokali" keeps on giving and the flavour is very nice

great crop of mixed Shelling Peas - Paladio and Little Marvel - sown April 14, they do take some time to shell out ...... but worth it!
and, for all the beneficial critters ........ this garden's for them
