June 22 Back Container Garden

a pic for the record - peppers and tomatoes looking super green and healthy and my pole beans have begun their climb ....

June 15 Garden 10/11 and 64

Another update - looking back they are so green and lovely - first up are Beds 10 (in front) and 11 (in back with tomatoes); then two views of Bed 64 - sunflowers are reaching for the sky and the beans, tomatoes and squash are happy campers

The Masai Beans in Bed 10 are just showing two leaves - and beets in front have sprouted

and a closer look at the "Worry" Dwarf tomatoes in Bed 11 on June 18; this bed would have been happy with four tomato plants .......

June 15 "R" Garden

Getting somewhat behind in my postings, but better late than never

Anyhoo, here is "R" Garden June 15 - overview, calendula up close and Citizen Seed Trial kale - the Dazzling Blue definitely seems to be overtaking the competition, and my dahlias are really making an appearance now

June 13 Back Gardens

Thought I would include a few pics of my two small in ground plots

here is a rather unusual vegetable - Fioretto 60 cauliflower - I didn't really care for the taste - perhaps it was past time to harvest - but I love the look of the plants

more tomatoes - Oud Holland on the left and Red Lithium on the right, with Breen lettuce front and centre - lovely mini romaine that stays sweet longer than most

June 10 Beds 10/11 and 64

Summer solstice approaches and the gardens are putting on amazing growth ........ check out the Red Sweet Crisp Salanova lettuce - really tasty

Masai green bush beans (lower left) planted June 1 - hopefully these will provide a harvest once those beans in the centre are done

the Worry dwarf tomatoes at the right are looking green and happy .....

June 2 Container Tomatoes

Here's a closer view of my back container tomatoes

from left to right:  Sunchocola, Dwarf Firebird Sweet, Fred's Tie Dye (dwarf)

from left to right:  Oud Holland, Uluru Ochre (dwarf), Bundaberg Rumball (dwarf) and Red Lithium
