"Mars Landing" kale really caught my eye ....... so vibrant ..... in the vegetable garden ..... I purchased seed for next season

October 1 Final Tomato Harvest

 tomatoes are about done ........ these will ripen over the next few weeks

more dahlia deadheading .....

time to go ...... but I did like the added marigolds for a bit of colour

finally found the cucumber label .... "Quick Snack" ..... well worth growing, provided cukes through the entire summer!! and a few late strawberries

September 29 Back Forty

looking rather straggly, but still providing tomatoes 

just may get to check out the flowers on these two dahlia seedlings

a bit of a mystery .... a seedling showed up in my compost ..... I liked the way it looked ...... and it has provided one nice size tomato on a very miniature plant ..... picked early as it is the only one (in case I want to save save) and we still have rat issues
