August 23 'R' Garden

it has been a while since my last visit to 'R' garden ...... dahlias badly in need of dead heading

love these colours together

and here are the Lilly tomato grow outs ..... disease issues not unexpected, as this garden has never grown good tomatoes

to the left Lilibet 5 ... good production of mid-size beefsteaks; plant appears to be determinate

and one remaining Lily T23-68 on a very dwarf/stunted plant

so sad, all my succulents have been pulled from my strawberry planter ...... so many years growing, gone in a few minutes .... why?  I'll never know ........ the joys of community gardens

but, onward and upward ....... transplanted baby kales

Lilibet 5 ..... liking the look of this one

Dazzling Sun showing much more red later in the season

finally, my sunflowers are blooming

decided to pick these green, so they didn't come to an early demise ...... Lilibet 5 .... fingers crossed for good flavour ,,,,,, good size plant, tomatoes and production

dahlia bouquet

picked today ..... these beans are tasty even at this size and lots of Rose Quartz cherry toms
