Harvest from the Gas Station Garden - these scallions have been growing for months, finally time to begin clearing out the bed - Masai bush beans just keep cropping, my first (and maybe only zucchini) and tomatoes l-r: Russian Black Pear (4), Kits Find (1), Muddy Mamba (1) and Fred's Tie Dye (1); some of these were picked early to avoid predators and sun scald
we have a few more beets sizing up - this time golden ......
Kits Find - so happy this one has set fruit - very old seed needed a regrow - such picture perfect tomatoes!! a bit away from ripening however
and happy dance - here is Lillian's Yellow x Dwarf Speckled Heart F1 - fingers crossed for viable seed - although it is getting rather late in the season; no tomatoes set during our last heat wave, but the plant is now putting out a lot of heart shaped tomatoes
rather sad looking Beds 10/11 - but soon to be planted with fall veggies, when this crazy weather cools a bit; Note my one stand alone zinnia - very few seeds for the price - looking forward to the blooms ...
