July 29 Beds 10/11 and 64

Bed 64 still providing bouquets of fragrant sweet peas .... 

Deer Tongue lettuce (lower left) has bolted, I may save seed and both tomatoes in Bed 64 - Fred's Tie Dye and Russian Black Pear - have some nice sized fruit ...... but no colour showing

Beds 10 and 11 looking a little tired ..... I'm finding it a challenge to keep these gardens watered

but the Red Swan bush beans (although they appear to be climbing!!) are growing well

and Muddy Mamba tomato should show some colour soon

will save Breen lettuce seed shortly and out these plants will go to make room for my fall planting .....
