April 21 More Cherry Blossoms

April 14 Garden 107 and more

not much happening at Garden 107,  the weather has been cold, but a few brave babies are emerging .....

but first ...... over at Beds 10, 11 and 64 decided to make space for a pollinator mix I found at a nearby Seed Library ......


just the faintest green rows begin to emerge

strawberries are not looking happy

look closely and you will see tiny sprouts of peas emerging

April 12 Back Forty

back gardens spring to life

these violas were planted last fall ....... one of my favourites for early spring colour

Queen of the Night tulips and daffodils

I've had this succulent for a number of years ..... loves how the pot reflects the tip colour of the plants


garlic ..... in need of a compost top up and a feed ..... four varieties from the left:  Northern Quebec Porcelain, Georgia Fire, Rasa and Elephant garlic

April 12 Beds 10, 11 and 64

Beds 10 and 11, Clayton to the left and mizuna and mustard in Bed 10........ will keep these for a bit for the beneficials

my F4 plants from Lillian's Yellow Heirloom x Dwarf Speckled Heart ....... one potato leaf, maybe three dwarfs and a few droopy leaves that usually indicates a heart shape
