look carefully ...... bottom left corner plant - this is Lilly 9 with a late sprouting addition, which I decided to keep  :-)

overview

here's Lilly 1 in my back small square garden ...... not putting on as much growth as the container tomatoes, but the soil is different and this area gets more shade

my two container cucumbers ...... just starting to set fruit ..... hmm....... seem to have forgotten the variety - Adam F1?

June 17 Beds 10, 11 and 64

A lot of growth in one week ..... peas in Bed 10 starting to set pods and the tomatoes are bushing out - but still waiting for tomato set; no sign of the beans in Bed 10,  but decided to squeeze in two lettuce in need of transplant

here's a close-up of the tomatoes in Bed 64 .....

a view from the top gives a much better look at plant size/shape; from top left, clockwise:  Lilly 11, Lilly 8, Lilly 3, Lilly 2

here's the top view of Bed 11 tomatoes from far left, clockwise:  Lilly 4, Lilly 7, Lilly 6, Lilly 12

and finally, a close-up of 15th and Vine

June 10 Beds 10/11 and 64

time to clear the clutter ...... the Asian greens were taking over Bed 10 and had gone to flower and the nasturtiums in Bed 11 were all leaf and no flower

sprinkled a few arugula seed in the corner of Bed 11 .....

now the tomatoes have room to grow; Lilly Family tomatoes in Bed 11:  left:  Lilly 4; top:  Lilly 7; right:  Lilly 6;  bottom:  Lilly 12. .......... also noticed the three shrivelled dahlias tubers have now sprouted - time will tell the variety (either Dazzling Sun or Papageno)

15th and Vine is in Bed 10 far right ....... mixed snow/snap peas on trellis just starting to blossom

view from other side - two short rows of snap beans planted in Bed 10 - Masai on the left and Plot 12 neighbour beans saved from 2019 on the right

Bed 64:  Alderman peas have already reached the top of their trellis ........

The Lilly tomatoes:  left:  Lilly 2, back:  Lilly 11, right:  Lilly 8 and front:  Lilly 3

Lilly 8 has a lot of blossom clusters ....... now if we just get fruit set

June 8 'R' Garden

despite the cold and wet spring I'm really happy with my garden, the dahlias are leafing out, the  pole beans are climbing and the Santee broccoli is healthy ...... plus - I haven't had to do much watering so far this year

my only issue is with the bush beans, germination not great - although some seed is older

beans, from top row:  Van Dusen, Masai, Speedy and Serpedor

June 5 Back Garden

 another container view

this one is special - my only potato leaf dwarf from the Lillian's Yellow x Dwarf Speckled Heart F2 (Lilly) family

scapes just starting to emerge on the elephant garlic far left ....

missed Lilly 9 in my last update ..... this one is dwarf and has a lot of bud clusters ..... and my 'Bush Baby' zucchini
