May 8 Remaining Tomatoes are In

All tomatoes have now been transplanted to their forever homes ...... heat wave predicted for next week, so hopefully they will be somewhat settled in ......

note to self ...... plant earlier bulbs next year ..... although the tulips were almost done;  Soil in containers was removed, mixed with Pro-Mix HP, compost and Gai Green more bloom ..... and replanted

still enjoying the violas colours ...... but soon sweet peppers will be in these containers

lilies, asters, hostas and roses, oh my .......

amazed at my winter sown lettuce .... think I'll just cut out some plugs to transplant rather than individual plants ...... but will wait until the heat settles a bit ...... from top:  kale, lettuce (Morton Mix), lettuce (Breen mini romaine), coreopsis with a few rudbeckia and some Tashkent marigolds

Black Prince snapdragon (front centre) overwintered and soon to flower ..... a mix of light and dark foliage ..... the original is dark
