July 1 Happy Canada Day

Beds 10/11 and 64

mixed sweet peas from saved seed, my favourite flower for scent

time to clear out the old snap peas and sow a fresh crop, also a good time to sow more beans; fingers crossed for Red Swan, a somewhat rare bean, and my seed is getting rather old

with this unseasonably warm weather they should germinate fairly fast if I can keep the soil moist

can't stop posting pictures of my nasturtiums - just amazing heat lovers

overview of Beds 10/11 - scallions, tomatoes (Lillian's Yellow Heirloom x Dwarf Speckled Heart and Muddy Mamba) one kale plant and arugula remain in Bed 10

Bed 64:  beans are putting on lots of flowers and the sweetpeas are taking over their trellis

kale is making its presence known and both tomatoes appear to be greening up after an application of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and plenty of water, Deer Tongue lettuce continues to grow in this heat
