July 10 Beds 10/11 and 64

 The weather has been so hot that these raised beds need water almost daily .... hence all the pictures :-)

arugula in the lower corner continues to provide a nice kick to salads ....


not happy with my beets - they are not sizing up - have read they should be thinned, however Charles Dowding does not thin and his are great - not sure if I will keep these going much longer; interesting that I was worried about germination on the Red Swan beans - they are the only ones that germinated!!

happy with progress on Lillian's Yellow Heirloom x Dwarf Speckled Heart F1 - blossoms are now plentiful after our heat wave - fingers crossed for some wee tomatoes soon

love the colours ........ lovely scent as well
